WHEREAS, pursuant to Article l V, Section 5 of the /\mended and Restated Bylaws of the
Market Lubbock Economic Development Corporation (the ··Corporation"), the City Council
of the Cit y of Lubbock (the .. City Co uncil'.), as th e Corporation's authorizing unit , has the
authority to approve all programs and expenditures of the Corporation; and
WHEREAS , the City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the public to approve the
program or expenditure, as proposed to the City Counci l by the Corporation, as set forth in
Exhibit .. /\ .. attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference: NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TllE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Downtown Permittable Grant program or expenditure of the Corporation, in the
amount set forth in Exh ibit "/\" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. to be
provided to LBK Property Group. LLC. is hereby approved pursuant to Secti on 5 of the
Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Corporation.

Project 1312 Ave Q (Permittable)
LBK Property Group, LLC, which includes Dan Williams, Shannon Himanga and Damon Chase, is
renovating the building at 1312 Ave Q, located within the Downtown TIF. Dan Williams also has other
properties located in Downtown Lubbock that will be renovated in the coming months. The permittable
scope of work on this project will include a new roof and structural, mechanical and electrical work
totaling $171,339 in expenses.
The MLI Board is being asked to consider a Downtown Permittable Grant for LBK Property Group, LLC
totaling $17,134at1312 Ave Q.
