The scope of work will include landscaping, the installation of new windows, new paint and parking lot seal coat and re-striping totaling $50,627 in expenses. The MLI Board is being asked to consider a Downtown Fa~ade Grant for Concord Medical Group totaling $25,000 at 1602 Ave Q. Payments will be made as outlined above Date of Acceptance: -------- Signature: ___________ _ Signature: ___________ _ RE 18-51 RESOLUTION APPROVING CONCORD MEDICAL GROUP 1602 Avenue Q THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF LUBBOCK At a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of MARKET LUBBOCK ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, INC., a Texas nonprofit corporation (MLI), on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, held in conformity with the bylaws, after due notice as therein provided, a I quorum being present and acting, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: WHEREAS, MLI presented to members of the Board the proposal of a possible Economic Development Grant and Contract (Permittable and Fa~ade) to Concord Medical Group, at 1602 A venue Q, Lubbock, Texas. The terms and conditions of such Economic Development Grant and Contract, other than the normal terms and conditions applicable to all such Economic Development Grant and Contracts by the Corporation, are described generally as follows, to wit: Grant Concord Medical Group, a Permillable Grant in the amount in the amount of $27 ,243 to Concord Medical Group at 1602 A venue Q, located within the Downtown TIF, with the scope of work including structural metal faming, carpentry, insulation, doors and frames and flooring with $272,434 in total expenses, and once the work has been completed and proof of payment has been submitted. And a Downtown Fa~ade Grant in the amount of $25,000 to Concord Medical Group at 1602 Avenue Q, located within the Downtown TIF, with the scope of work including landscaping, the installation of new windows, new paint and parking lot seal coat and restriping totaling $50,627 in expenses, and once the work has been completed and proof of payment has been submitted. WHEREAS, The Board of Directors of MLI finds that an Economic Development Grant and Contn1ct offering the incentive for providing assistance to renovate and update the facility meet and comply with the qualifications and purposes of the Corporation for the granting of such Economic Development Grants and Contracts. Upon Motion by Director, Ms. Kristin Murry, and Seconded by director, Dr. John Opperman, it was approved, IT WAS RESOLVED that MLI offer and, if accepted by Recipient, enter into an Economic Grant and Contract with Concord Medical Group, at 1602 A venue Q, Lubbock, Texas. This Economic Development Grant and Contact will be on the normal terms and conditions of such Downtown Permittable Grant and Fa~ade Grant Program and Contract offered by MLI to existing businesses and business prospects and authorize the CEO to enter into and negotiate Performance Agreement.
