RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the owner of certain real property further described in Exhibit A
hereto near the intersection of 981h Street and University Avenue has filed a petition
requesting annexation of said property with the City of Lubbock on the 6'h day of June,
2005; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard arguments for and against the requested
annexation at a meeting conducted on the 23rd day of June, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock deems it to be in the best
interest of the citizens of the City of Lubbock to grant said Petition for Annexation; NOW
THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT, pursuant to Section 43.028 of the Local Government Code,
the City of Lubbock hereby grants the Petition for Annexation attached hereto as Exhibit
A, which is incorporated herein and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes.
SECTION 2. THAT the City Planning Department and the City Attorney shall
prepare an annexation Ordinance for consideration by the City Council to annex the
property described in Exhibit A into the City of Lubbock.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION PLANNING DEPARTMENT
TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK
TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS
The undersigned property owners hereby request that the City of Lubbock, Texas,
annex the property described by metes and bounds on Exhibit A hereto and by a map or
plat on Exhibit B hereto into the City of Lubbock. The undersigned real property owners
hereby certify that they own all of the real property in the area indicated by Exhibit A and
Exhibit B hereto, which exhibits are made a part hereof for all purposes. The undersigned
