RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, Colonel Donald McCullough was an important and valued member
the citizenship of Lubbock, Texas, serving on numerous boards and in numerous
iacities to the benefit of the City of Lubbock, Texas; and
WHEREAS, Colonel Donald McCullough proudly served the citizens of the
nited States of America through thirty years of military service, achieving the rank of
olonel in the United States Air Force;
WHEREAS, Colonel Donald McCullough was a selfless and kind human being
ling his hand of assistance to persons in need, the last of such acts resulting in the
loss of Colonel Donald McCullough's life;
WHEREAS, due to such character and importance to the City of Lubbock, the
ity Council of the City of Lubbock desires to honor the legacy of Colonel Donald

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock deems it to be in the best
iterest of the citizens of the City of Lubbock to name the decorative fountain located at
,eroy Elmore Park in the City of Lubbock the "Colonel Donald McCullough Memorial
ountain": NOW THEREFORE:
IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the decorative fountain at the Leroy Elmore Park of the City of Lubbock,
exas shall be named the "Colonel Donald McCullough Memorial Fountain" in honor of
olonel Donald McCullough, a great citizen of the City of Lubbock.
