Most of you have passed resolutions for wind energy in the last two years. It is time to pass the enclosed resolution for the final push towards our mutual goal of the economic bonanza that wind turbines and electric transmission lines will bring to our counties and communities. There will be a formal hearing of the Texas House of Representatives Regulated Industries Committee in Amarillo, on April 24th at 9:00am at the Region 16 Service Center, 5800 Bell St, Amarillo. At this meeting, we want to turn in as many resolutions as possible to this committee and to the Public Utility Commissioners. They all need to know that we are unified in our desire for this great opportunity for our region. We would appreciate you passing and retuiming these resolutions by April 15, 2008 so we can put them in binders for the committee and commissioners. We also encourage you to take a day off from your normal work and come spend it with us at this committee meeting.
