MILLER, MAYOR June 15, 2006 The Hon. Mayor David Miller and City Council of Lubbock Mr. Larry Hertel, City Engineer City of Lubbock P.O. Box 2000 Lubbock,Texas 79457 Re: Portofino Cove Development at 961h Street and Joliet Avenue Dear Mayor Miller, Council Members, and Mr. Hertel: On behalf of Mr. Dan Wilson, please consider this letter as our request to construct a public street within our proposed development which includes an "island" in the street. Our development is called Portofino Cove and will be located at 961h Street and Joliet Avenue. I've included a sketch of the development for your review. We intend to construct 7 garden homes. And the configuration of the property Mr. Wilson was able to purchase for this development made it such that the island configuration proved to be the best option for access and traffic flow. The street will be concrete paved in accordance with standard City of Lubbock Paving Specifications and the Island (along with Lot 8) will be designated as common space which will be owned and maintained by a home owners association. Mr. Wilson can be reached at the following address and phone for any additional information you may need: Dan Wilson Homes, LLP P.O.
