�3 RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the following persons reside in the City of Lubbock and have
�I completed a Civil Defense Training Course which was prescribed by the Federal
Government of the United States and endorsed by the State of Texas, and,
WHEREAS, the duties of these persons shall include assuming control
and direction of all other persons who will be sheltered in the' building or
jurisdiction under their control upon the declaration of an emergency by the
President of the United States, the Governor of Texas, or the Mayor of Lubbock, and,
WHEREAS, during the period of emergency said persons are to carry out
the orders and directives of the Mayor or his authorized representatives for the
purpose of protection of life and property,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 'CITY OF
LUBBOCK:
THAT the persons named above be appointed as Fallout Shelter Managers
for the building or Jurisdiction indicated.
