RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock an Amendment to the
September 24, 1998 Agreement, by and between the City of Lubbock and Civic Lubbock,
Inc., attached herewith, and any associated documents, which Amendment shall be spread
upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

AMENDMENT
WITNESSETH:
Resolution No.6331

WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock (hereinafter called "City") and the Civic
Lubbock, Inc., (hereinafter called "Corporation") did heretofore on the 24th day of
September, 1998, enter into an Agreement wherein City granted to Corporation a license
for the use of the Auditorium/Coliseum and the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center in
exchange for certain services to be performed by the Corporation; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and the Corporation to amend said
Agreement between the City and the Corporation; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY AND THE CORPORATION AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Paragraph 3(b) of the September 24, 1998, Agreement between the
City and the Corporation shall be amended to read as follows:
b) City a commission of twenty percent (20%) of alcoholic beverage
sales at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center and the Lubbock Municipal
Auditorium -Coliseum and other mutually determined municipal facilities during
the term of this agreement. In addition, Corporation shall pay an additional ten
percent (10%) of beer sales generated from hockey games in the Lubbock
Municipal Coliseum. The commission on all alcoholic beverage sales shall be
paid to the City on a quarterly basis with the first such payment being due on the
10'b day of January in each fiscal year, and a similar payment on the 10, day after
each succeeding quarter during the term of this agreement.
This Amendment to the September 24, 1998, Agreement between the City and the
Corporation is executed this 10tbday of June , 1999.
