BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
4.
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock Be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed in
favor of JACK GAULDING and AUGUSTINE and ASSOCIATES (a partnership com-
posed of Frank A. Augustine and wife, Margaret D. Augustine attached herewith
which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the
minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully
copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 25th day of May 1978.

THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of
Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND N0/100
($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by
JACK GAULDING and AUGUSTINE and ASSOCIATES (a partnership composed of
Frank A. Augustine and wife, Margaret D. Augustine, hereinafter called "GRAN-
TEE", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents
ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said
GRANTEE, all its right title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of
land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as
follows, to -wit:
A 4. 00 feet by 6.00 feet Transformer Pad Easement in Tract "L", Melonie
Park South an Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, being
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which bears North 0002113" East 76. 82 feet and
South 89057147" East 20. 00 feet for the point of beginning;
THENCE South 89°57t47" East a distance of 4.00 feet;
THENCE North 0 *02113" East a distance of 6.00 feet;
THENCE North 89*57147" West a distance of 4.00 feet;
THENCE South 0002113" West a distance of 6.00 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular the
rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said
GRANTEE, its successors and assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, City
of Lubbock, its successors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at
any time hereinafter,,, have, claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid
premises or.pppdrtenances or any part thereof.
