RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF (STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES) AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement -provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Spanish Oaks Addition, Lots 1-293 and
Tract "A", made arrangements with Commercial Concrete Construction Company
for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in
said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording
of the subdivision plat of Spanish Oaks Addition, Lots 1-293 and Tract "A"
including the following streets:
Zoar Avenue from its intersection with the South lip line of 70th
Street to its intersection with the North property line of 73rd Street known
and designated as New .Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 70 of Unit Number 2018.
York Avenue from its intersection with (a line) 40.00 feet North
of the cul-de-sac North of 73rd Street to its intersection with the North
lip line of 73rd Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit
Number 71 of Unit Number 2018.
Winston Avenue from its intersection with (aline) 20.80 feet South
of the South property line of 70th Street to its intersection with.the North
lip line of 73rd Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit
Number 72 of Unit Number 2018.
Wayne Avenue from its intersection with the North lip line of 73rd
Street to its intersection with (a line) 40.00 feet Plorth of the cul-de-sac.
North of 73rd Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit
Number 73 of Unit Number 2018.
Vinton Avenue from its intersection with the North lip line of
71st Street to its intersection with (a line) 40.00 feet North of the cul-
de-sac North of 71st Street.known and designated as ,New Subdivision. Sub -
Unit Number 74 of Unit Number 2018.
Vicksburg Avenue from its intersection with the North lip line of
71st Street to its intersection with (a line) 40.00 feet North of the cul-de-sac
North of 71st Street known and designated as ..New Subdivision:. Sub -Unit Number
75 of Unit Number 9111A_
Utica Place from its intersection with the North lip line of 71st
Street to its intersection with (a line) 40.00 feet North of the cul-de-sac
North of 71st Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit

Utica Avenue from its intersection with (a line) 7.00 feet South
of the South property line of the alley North of 71st Street to its inter-

Zoar Avenue from its intersection with the South lip line of 73rd
Street to its intersection with (a line) 134.50 feet South of the South property
line of 73rd Street known and designated as flew Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 78
of Unit Number 2018.
Wayne Avenue from its intersection with the South lip line of 73rd
Street to its intersection with (a line) 153.70 feet South of the South property
line of-73rd Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 79
of Unit Number 2018.
70th Street from its intersection with the East raw edge of Slide Road
to its intersection with (a line) 20.80 feet South of the South property line of
70th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 80 of Unit
Number 2018.
71st Street from its intersection with the West lip line of Zoar
Avenue to its intersection with ( a line) 16.50 feet West of the East property
line of Slide Road known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 81
of Unit Number 2018:
71st Street from its intersection with the East lip line of [Jayne
Avenue to its intersection with the West lip line of Utica Avenue known and
designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 82 of Unit Number 2018.
72nd Street from its intersection with ( aline) 16.50 feet West of
the East Property line of Slide Road to its intersection with the West lip
line of Zoar Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 83
of Unit Number 2018.
72nd Street from its intersection with the East lip line of Mayne
Avenue to its intersection with the West lip line of Utica Avenue known and
designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 84 of Unit [lumber 2018.
73rd Street from its intersection with the East raw edge of Slide
Road to its intersection with ( a line) 11.00 feet East of the West property
line of Utica Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number
85 of Unit Number 2018.
Drainage Channels off 73rd Street from its intersection with the East
lip line of Zoar Avenue to its intersection with the West lip line of Wayne Avenue
known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 8% of Unit Number 2018.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the
above mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of City Engineer
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in
accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331:
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the above mentioned
streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he
is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost
(and to release escrow money).
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage:
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 8th day of July, 1976.
