HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2005-R0009 - Improvements On Streets And Avenues - Allen Butler Construction Company - 01/13/2005Resolution No. 2005-R0009 January 13, 2005 Item No. 25 RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of Chapter 25 of the City of Lubbock Code of Ordinances, the subdivider of Lots 1-46, Fountain Hills Addition, made arrangements with Allen Butler Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets and avenues dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of the above -mentioned Addition, including the following streets and avenues: 110`h Street from the alley West of Genoa Avenue to the West lip line of Frankford Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 47 of Unit Number 2043. Genoa Avenue from the South lip line of 110`f' Street to the cul-de-sac South of 110th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 48 of Unit Number 2043. Gardner Avenue from the South lip line of I I0'h Street to 380 feet South of the South lip line of 110`h Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 49 of Unit Number 2043. The W%2 of Frankford Avenue from 7.00 feet North of the North property line of the alley North of 110`h Street to 7.00 feet South of the South property line of the alley South of 110'h Street (curb and gutter and asphalt ties), known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 50 of Unit Number 2043. The East-West alley North of 110`' Street from Frankford Avenue to the West property line of lot 17, known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 97 of Unit Number A-462. The North -South alley West of Frankford Avenue from 110`h Street North to East-West alley North of 110`h Street, known and designated as Sub - Unit Number 98 of Unit Number A-462. The North -South alley West of Genoa Avenue from 110`h Street South to East-West alley South of I I0`h Street, known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 99 of Unit Number A-462. RESOLUTION (PAVING - FOUNTAIN HILLS ADDITION 146) - Page 1 of 3 The East-West alley South of,, Wit Street from the North -South alley West of Genoa Avenue to the North -South alley East of Genoa Avenue, known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 00 of Unit Number A-463. The North -South alley East of Genoa Avenue from 11& Street to the East-West alley South of 110'h Street, known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 01 of Unit Number A-463. The North -South alley East of Gardner Avenue from I I0a Street to the South property line of lot 33, known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 02 of Unit Number A-463. The East-West alley South of 110" Street from the North -South alley East of Gardner Avenue to Frankford Avenue, known and designated as Sub - Unit Number 03 of Unit Number A-463. WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above -mentioned streets and avenues was perforated under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 25 of the City of Lubbock Code of Ordinances, NOW TH EREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the improvements on said portions of the above -mentioned streets and avenues BE and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer is hereby authorized to notify the Developer of acceptance by the Lubbock City Council. SECTION 2. THAT this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of its passage.
