HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 051376H - Reduction In Number Of Members On Human Relations Commission - 05_13_1976KJ/gm RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City Council heretofore established the Human Relations Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it would be in the best interest of the citizens of Lubbock that the number of members on the Human Relations Commission be reduced; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the number of members constituting the Human Relations Commission BE and is hereby reduced from fifteen (15) to twelve (12); THAT the representation on such Commission shall remain in the same ratio as established in Ordinance No. 6276; THAT the present members on the Commission shall continue to serve the remainder of their respective terms and the reduction of members shall be accomplished by expiration of terms or vacancies created by resignation.
