HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2002-R0531 - Street And Alley Improvements Release Resolution - Milwaukee Ave. - 12_12_2002tIDO �.C� F[LE An RMRK 10 Resolution No. 2002—R 0531 10 sucy R 4-W December 12 , 2002 Item No. 32 PARTIAL PAVING RELEASE RESOLUTION VOL S035w[123 THE STATE OF TEXAS § 4 7 COUNTY OF LUBBOCK WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2000-R0088 passed by the City Council on March 23, 2000, determined the necessity for making certain street and alley improvements as therein designated, which Resolution was filed as a matter of record in Volume 7692, Page 72 of the Official Real Property Records of Lubbock County, Texas, reference to which record is hereby made for all pertinent purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock finds and determines that the liens and/or clouds against certain abutting properties created by the filing of such Resolution should be released against such properties as are hereinafter described for the reasons hereinafter stated; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: I. THAT the following described properties in Unit Number 2386-004, Milwaukee Avenue from FM 2255 (4th Street) to 34`h Street are hereby released and quitclaimed because no assessments were made against such properties after a public hearing thereon as a result of the properties being above the high-water of a lake, to wit: The following metes and bounds described property: Beginning at a point lying in the West right of way line of Milwaukee Avenue which is also the Northeast corner of this tract, said point bears West a distance of 56.07 feet and South a distance of 1,026.98 feet from the Northeast corner of Section 10, Block J-S, Lubbock County, Texas; Thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 25 seconds West along the West right of way line of Milwaukee Avenue a distance of 1,131.35 feet to the Southeast corner of this tract, same point lying in the North line of the alley north of the L.
