Senter, Jr., Qyy Attorney QUIT CLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS § KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK . _ § THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Minicipality in the County of — Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/ 100 ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, hereinafter called "Grantee," the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its right title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: A portion of the East-West alley in Block 1, Jefferson Avenue Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point 19. 38 feet East of the Southeast corner of Lot 3, Block 1, Jefferson Avenue Addition, said point being in the North line of a 15. 00 foot alley; THENCE West along the North line of said alley, a distance of 259. 38 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 6; THENCE South a distance of 15. 00 feet to a point in the South line of said alley said point being the Northwest corner of Lot 15, Block 1, Jefferson Avenue Addition; THENCE East, along the South line of said alley a distance of 263.66 feet to a point; THENCE Northwesterly a distance of 15.60 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said GRANTEE, its successors,and assigns forever, so that neither the Grantor, City of Lubbock, its successors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter, have claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
