HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 022477B - Accept Paving Improvements - WD Turner Co - Potomac Park Addition - 02_24_1977o2vm e RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES AS BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City rdinance 1331, the subdivider of Potomac Park Addition, Lots 289-464 and Tract "C", ade arrangements with W.D. Turner Construction Company for the construction of aving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the rovisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of otomac Park Addition, Lots 289-464 and Tract "C" including the following streets: Geneva Avenue from its intersection with (a line) 15.00 feet south of the south property line of 84th Street to its intersection with the north lip line of 88th Drive known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 38 of Unit Number 2019. Gary Avenue from its intersection with (a line) 21.19 feet south of south property line of 84th Street (West side) to its intersection with the north lip line of 88th Drive known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 39 of Unit Number 2019. Freemont Avenue from its intersection with (a line) 16.16 feet south of south property line of 84th Street to its intersection with the north lip line of 88th Drive known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 40 of Unit Number 2019. Flint Avenue from its intersection with (a line) 15.00 feet south of south property line of 84th Street to its intersection with the center- line of 90th Street known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 41 of Unit Number 2019. Elkridge Avenue from its intersection with (a line) 15.00 feet south of south property line of 84th Street to its intersection with the north lip line.of 90th Street known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 42 of Unit Number 2019. 86th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Elkridge Aven to its intersection with (a line) 7.00 feet east of east property line of Alley east of Elkridge known and designated as (New Subdivision,) Sub -Unit Number 43 of Unit Number 2019. 86th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Flint Avenue to its intersection with the west lip line of Elkridge Avenue known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 44 of Unit Number 2019. 88th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Elkridge Avenue to its intersection with (a line) 7.00 feet east of east property line of Alley east of Elkridge Avenue known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 45 of Unit Number 2019. 90th Street from its intersection with the east lip line of Flint Avenue to its intersection with (a line) 7.00 feet east of east property line of Alley east of Elkridge known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 46 of Unit Number 2019. 88th Drive from its intersection with (a line) 7.00 feet north of north property line of Alley north of 87th Street to its intersection with (a line) 13.28 feet west of west property line of Flint Avenue (North side) known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 47 of Unit Number 2019. 86th Street from its intersection with (a line) 7.00 feet east of east property line of Alley east of Hartford Avenue to its intersection with the west lip line of Geneva Avenue known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 48 of Unit Number 2019. Various Drainage Structures (Concrete Only) known and designated as (New Subdivision) Sub -Unit Number 49 of Unit Number 2019. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost (and to release escrow money). passage.
