RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
'I'TdAT the Mayor of the CITY OF LUBBOCK, BE and is hereby
authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the CITY OF
LUBBOCK a QUITCLAIM DEED in favor of DOYL,E LANGF+ORD and
wife, IDA LA TGF'ORD, attached herewith which sha,11 be spread upon
the Minutes of the Council. and as spread upon the Mluutes of this Council
shall constitute and be a pert of this Resolution as if fully copied herein
in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 29th day of March , 1976.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS §
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
N0/100 DOLLARS ($1. 00), and other good and valuable consideration to it in
hand paid by DOYLE LANGFORD and wife, IDA LANGFORD, hereinafter
collectively called "GRANTEE", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOR-
EVER QUITCLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its right, title and interest in
and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
A 30. 00 feet wide Utility Easement between Lot 78 and
Lot 131, Murryhill Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas, being more particularly des-
cribed by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which is 15. 00 feet West of the
Southwest corner of Lot 78, Murryhill Addition;
THENCE North a distance of 120. 00 feet to the South
Right -of -Way line of 48th Street;
THENCE West, along the South Right -of -Way line of
48th Street, a distance of 30. 00 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 120. 00 feet to the North
line of a 20. 00 foot alley;
THENCE East a distance of 30. 00 feet to the PLACE
OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner be-
longing unto the said GRANTEE, their heirs and assigns forever, so that
neither the GRANTOR, CITY OF LUBBOCK, its successors, or assigns, nor
any person claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter have, claim or de-
mand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any
past thereof.
