Senter, Jr., City AMorney QUITCLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK S THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NOI 100 DOLLARS ($1. 00) and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by LUBBOCK AUTO AUCTION, INC., a Corporation in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, hereinafter called "GRANTEE", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE and FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its right, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: A portion of land between Blocks 1 and 2. McLaughlin Subdivision to;,the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, being more particularly described as. follows: BEGINNING at a point in the Southeast corner of Lot 2, Block 1, McLaughlin Subdivison of Nelson -Brown Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;: THENCE West along the South boundary of Block 1, said addition, a distance of 560.00 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 1, said addition; THENCE South, along the East line of Locust Avenue, 'a distance of 50.00 feet to the Northwest corner of Block 2, said addition; THENCE East, along the North boundary of said Block 2, a distance of 255. 00 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 2, Block 2, said addition; THENCE North a distance of 25. 00 feet to a point; THENCE East a distance of 305.00 feet to a point, said point being in the West line of Magnolia Avenue; THENCE North a distance of 25. 00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singu- lar the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said GRANTEE, its successors and assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, CITY OF LUBBOCK, its successors or assigns, nor any per- sons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
