BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby
authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of
Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed in favor of Plains Linen Service of
Lubbock, Inc. , a corporation, attached herewith which shall be
spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the
minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this
Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
N01100 ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in
hand paid by Plains Linen Service of Lubbock, Inc., a Texas corporation with
its registered office located in Amarillo, Texas, hereinafter called "Grantee",
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents
ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE, AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said
GRANTEE, all its right title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel
of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas,
described as follows, to -wit:
A portion of land between Blocks 1 and 2, McLaughlin
Subdivision to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas, being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the Northeast corner of
Lot 2, Block 2, McLaughlin Subdivision of Nelson -
Brown Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas;
THENCE West, along the North line of said Lot 2,
a distance of 305.00 feet to the Northeast corner
of Lot 1, said addition;
THENCE North a distance of 25.00 feet to a point;
THENCE East a distance of 305.00 feet to a point,
said point being in the West line of Magnolia Avenue;
THENCE South a distance of 25.00 feet to the PLACE
OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and sing-
ular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging
unto the said GRANTEE, its successors and assigns forever, so that neither
the Grantor, City of Lubbock, its successors, or assigns, nor any persons
claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any
right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
