RES;OLU TION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the MAYOR of the CITY OF LUBBOCK BE and is hereby
authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a
PARTIAL PAVING ASSESSMENT LIEN RELEASE affecting parts of Ordi-
nances Nos. 6812 and 6946 as therein described specifically in favor of
abutting property owners of record as their respective interests may appear,
attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and
as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of
this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 20th day of November , 1971.

PARTIAL PAVING RELEASE
STATE OF TEXAS §
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK $
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas, finds that
certain apparent paving liens should be released (as hereinafter set forth)
by reason of the fact that paving improvements were never in fact made
pursuant thereto in certain instances; NOW THEREFORE:
For and in consideration of the premises, and the need to correct the
public records with respect hereto the City of Lubbock does hereby release,
relinquish, and quitclaim all its right, title and interest in and to the fol-
lowing specific paving liens unto the abutting property owners of record as
their respective interests may appear, said paving liens being described
for release hereby as follows:
I.
Part of East Broadway from 6.00 feet east of east property
Unit 2229-12 line of Holly Avenue (N. Leg) to 13.00 feet east of
east property line of June Avenue. The below des-
cribed assessment only is hereby released.
Beginning at a point, said point being 690.0 feet east
.and 42.0 feet north of the southwest corner of the
northwest 4 of Section 5, Block 0, Lubbock County,
Texas; THENCE north along the east line of Holly
Avenue 133.0 feet to a point; Thence east 1333.0
feet to a point; Thence south 150. 0 feet to a point;
Thence west along a line, said line being parallel
to and 25.0' north of the i section line, 1270.0
feet to a point; Thence Ny .720 44' 14" W. 65.25
feet to the place of beginning.
Part of East 15th Place from 48. 00 feet west of east pro -
Unit 2229-14 perty line of Guava Avenue to 13.00 feet east of
east property line of June Avenue. The below des-
cribed assessment only is hereby released.
Beginning at a point that is 1290.0 feet north and
1345.0 feet east of the southwest corner of Section
5, Block 0, Lubbock County, Texas; Thence east
along a line being the south line of East 15th Place,
678.0 feet to a point; Thence South 150.0' feet to a
point; Thence west 678. 0 feet to a point; Thence
north 150.0 feet to the point of beginning.
Unit 2232-2 Locust Avenue from the south lip line of 34th Street
to 18.00 feet south of the south property line of 36th
Street (west leg).
The preceding paving units were included in GWO 10, 836, Ordinance No.
6812, Final Reading February 14, 1974, Filed March 29th, 1974, and
recorded April 1, 1974, in Volume 1382, Pages 1-50 of the Deed Records
of Lubbock County, Texas.

The following paving units were included GWO 10, 836-A, Ordinance No.
6946, Final Reading September 12, 1974, _'Filed and Recordedon October 16th,
1974, in Volume 1405, pages 466-509 of the Deed Records of Lubbock
County, Texas.
Part of East 14th Street from the west side of Guava Avenue to
Unit 2229-20 the east curb line of Keel Avenue. The below described
assessments only are hereby released.
Lots 11 through 20, Block 8, Sunlawn Addition
Lots 1, 2, & 6, Rix Addition Block• 1
Block 1, R ix Add. Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 6, Block 1,
Rix Addition, THENCE south a distance of 126. 00 feet
to a point; Thence west a distance of 366. 0 feet to a
point; Thence north a distance of 126.0 feet to a point;
Thence East a distance of 366.0 feet to the point of
beginning.
Block 1, Rix Addn. Beginning on the northwest corner of Lot 2, Block 1,
Rix Addition; Thence south a distance of 126.0 feet to a
point; Thence west a distance of 36.0 feet to a point;
Thence north a distance of 126.0 feet to a point; Thence
east a distance of 36.0 feet to the point of beginning.
Part of North Avenue T from 16.00 feet south of north property
Unit 2232-3 line of Harvard Street to 189. 00 feet north of north pro-
perty line of Lot 13, Stanton Industrial Addition. The
below described assessment only is hereby released.
Roadbeds, ties, rails and other appurtenances between
the rails and two (2) feet either side thereof.
PROVIDED HOWEVER THAT:
Only the liens above specifically described (as being released) are
released hereby, and all other remaining liens created by said Ordinances
Nos. 6812 and 6946 respectively are hereby expressly retained by said City
of Lubbock.
