Senter, Jr., City Attorney ` x1 QUITCLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS § KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK § THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the -County of ,Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO1100 ($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by WEST TEXAS HOSPITAL, a subsidiary of AMERICAN MEDICAL INTERNATIONAL, INC., a California Corporation, hereinafter called "GRANTEE", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT 'CLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its right, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: All the North -South alley in Block 84, Original Town r of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas. (SEAL) Notary Public, Lubbock County, Texas CORRECTION QUITCLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF LUBBOCK § WHEREAS, a Quitclaim Deed executed by the City of Lubbock, Texas, in favor of the State of Texas under date of February 13, 1964, and recorded at Volume 978, Page 292 of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, con- 'tained an error in legal description as regards the real estate described therein 'which should be corrected in order to change it from 320 acres unto 54.561 acres as hereinafter set forth; NOW THEREFORE: For and in consideration of the premises, and in order to correct the public records to more accurately reflect the intention of the parties, the ,legal description contained in the Quitclaim Deed hereinabove described, which .now reads as follows (of record): ` "A tract of land approximately 320 acres in area located approximately 4 miles from the town of Lubbock and being the East 320 acres, Survey No. 5, Block E, Lub- bock County, Texas.
