Moss & Sons Et Al - Pavers Addition - 09_11_1975JWF:cab RESOLUTION I BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quitclaim Deed in favor of E. E. MOSS & SONS, a partnership, HOYLE G. MOSS, ENNIS E. MOSS, JR. , JAMES P. MOSS, MRS. ENNIS E. MOSS, SR., widow of ENNIS E. MOSS, SR., and the ENNIS E. MOSS, SR. TRUST, as their respective interests may appear as owners of property abutting a portion of Baylor Stree in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, attached herewith which sha] be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Senter, Jr.; Cit Atorney THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF LUBBOCK QUITCLAIM DEED E KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by E, E. MOSS & SONS, a partnership, HOYLE G. MOSS, ENNIS E. MOSS, JR. , JAMES P. MOSS, MRS. ENNIS E. MOSS, SR., widow of ENNIS E. .1VIOSS, SR., and the ENNIS E. MOSS, SR. TRUST, as their respective interests may appear as owners of property abutting a portion of Baylor Street in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, said portion of street -being more particu- larly hereinafter described, hereinafter collectively called "GRANTEES", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABAN- DON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said GRANTEES, all its right,. title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: BEGINNING at a point which bears South 30.00 feet from the Southwest corner of Lot 1, Pavers Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, said pointbeing in the East Right -of -Way line of the Canyon Branch of the Panhandle and Santa Fe Railroad; THENCE East a distance of 227. 96 feet to a point; THENCE South 14° 27' 28" West a distance of 30.98 feet to a point; THENCE West a distance of 220.23 feet to a point; THENCE North a distance of 30. 00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner, belonging unto the said GRANTEES, their heirs, successors, and assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, City of Lubbock, its successors, or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter have, claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
