RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MPROVENENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Greenlawn Addition, made arrangements with
West Texas Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of paving improvements
on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Greenlawn Addition
including the following streets:
Bangor Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South
Property Line of 30th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of
the South Property Line of the alley South of 30th Street, known and designated
as New-Subdivision Unit Number 592.
30th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the East Property
Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Albany Avenue
known and designated as New - Subdivision Unit Number 593.
Chicago Avenue fromlits intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South
Property Line of the alley North of 29th Street to its intersection with a line
12 feet North of the North Property Line of 29th Street and from its intersec-
tion with a line 12 feet South of the South. Property Line of 29th Street to
its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South Property Line of the
alley South of 30th Street, known and designated as New-Subdivision Unit
Number 594.
Chicago Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South
Property Line of the alley South of 31st Street to its intersection with a line
2.5 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley North of 31st Street,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 646.
31st Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the East Property
Line of 'Ohicago Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet West of the West
Property Line of Bangor Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 647.
Bangor Avenue (West Leg) from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the
North Property Line of 31st Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet
South of the South Property Line of the alley North of 31st Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 648.
Bangor Avenue (East Leg) from its intersection with the North Curb Line of
31st Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South Propert
Line of the alley South of 31st Street, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 649.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
said improvements -have been completed and have been inspected and found to have
been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with
the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to
release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
West Texas Construction Company, Inc., paving contractor, under
their contract with the subdividers of Greenlawn Addition and find
the improvements on Chicago Avenue, Bangor Avenue, 30th Street
and 31st Street as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or
avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on
the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the
City of Lubbock.
