Harwell - Suburban Homes Addition - 08_11_1960 JW :wg RESOLUTION f -- �- f', WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds that certain property owned by said City as:hereinafter described is no longer needed for public purposes, and that it would be expedient for said City to sell the same to A. L. Harwell and wife, Minnie V. Harwell; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of said City a Warranty Deed from said City to A. L. Harwell and wife, Minnie V. Harwell covering the following described property: All that certain lot, tract, or parcel of land located in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; and being more particularly described as follows: i The East 77 feet of the West 151.8 feet of the East 280 feet of Tract No. 3, 'Suburban Homes Addition to the City of Lub bock, Lubbock County, Texas, SAVE AND EXCEPT the South 35 feet of said Tract, title to which is retained by said City of Lubbock. This conveyance is made subject to a dedicated alley which is the North 7 1/2 feet of said tract of land previously dedi- cated as a public alley, which dedication is of record in Volume 449, Page 518 of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas. The consideration to be received by the City of Lubbock for this property shall be $7,500.00, cash in hand paid to the City of Lubbock by Grantees, A. L. Harwell and wife, Minnie V. Harwell. Grantees are to pay for the paving on 50th Street abutting said property tae amount of $391.OZ. SECTION Z. THAT the City Secretary of the City of Lubbock Shall attest the signature of the Mayor of the City of Lubbock to aforesaid Deed and shall affix the seal of the City thereto. 1960.
