RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the CITY OF LUBBOCK, BE and is hereby
authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the CITY OF
LUBBOCK a QUITCLAIM DEED in favor of JOE DEAN FEAGIN and ARNOLI
BANKS, a Partnership, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the
Minutes of the Council and as spread upon the Minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS §
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
NO/100 ($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in
hand paid by JOE DEAN FEAGIN and ARNOLD BANKS, a Partnership, here-
inafter called "Grantee", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does
hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER
QUITCLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its right, title and interest in and to
that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of
Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
A 50. 00 foot wide drainage easement out of Section 9, Block E-2, Lubbock
County, Texas, being nbre particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point, said point being 660. 00 feet North and
30. 00 feet East of the Northeast corner of Southwest Quarter of
Section 9, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas, said point also
located by the intersection of the centerline of 56th Street with the
East right-of-way line of Utica Avenue;
THENCE South, along the East right-of-way line of Utica Avenue,
a distance of 25. 87 feet to a point;
THENCE on a bearing of South 75° 06' 01" East a distance of 400.41
feet to a point, said point being in the West line of 55th Drive;
THENCE on a bearing of North 14° 53' 59" East, along the Vkst
right-of-way line of 55th Drive a distance of 50. 00 feet to a point;
THENCE on a bearing of North 75° 061 01" West a distance of 413. 75
feet to a point, said point being in the East right-of-way line of Utica
Avenue;
THENCE South along the East right-of-way line of Utica Avenue a
distance. of 25. 87 feet to the point of BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular
the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto
the said GRANTEE, its successors and assigns forever, so that neither the
GRANTOR, City of Lubbock, its successors, or assigns, nor any persons claim-
ing under it shall at any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to
the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
