I BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized ani
directed J& execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quitclaim Deed
in favor of South Plains Mall, Inc., a Corporation,. attached herewith which
shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minut
of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully
copied herein in detail.

§ KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of
Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND N0/100
DOLLARS ($1. 00) and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid
by SOUTH PLAINS MALL, INC., hereinafter called "GRANTEE", the receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON,
DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said GRANTEE,
all its right title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying
and being situated in the County of Lubbock,, State of Texas,. described as follows,
to -wit:
A portion of Utility Easement, which Utility Easement in its entirety
was dedicated by the Replat of Tract A, SOUTH PLAINS ADDITION
to the CITY OF LUBBOCK, Lubbock County, Texas, recorded at
Volume 1295, Pages 379-382 (inclusive) of the Deed Records of
Lubbock County, Texas, by the dedicators, SOUTH PLAINS MALL,
INC. , a Corporation, said portion herein concerned being. described
by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point for the Northwest and beginning point of this
! Easement; from whence the Northeast corner of Section 28,. Block E-2,
Lubbock County, Texas, bears North, 3378.94 feet and East,
1199..88 feet;
THENCE North 890 59' 33" East, 10 feet to a point for the North-
east corner of this Easement;
THENCE South 0° 00' 27" East, 75.85 feet to a point for a corner
of this Easement, --
THENCE South 170 30' 27" East,. 114.96feet to a.point for the
Southeast corner of this Easement;
THENCE South 890 59' 33" West, 10.49 feet to a point for the
Southwest corner of this Easement;
THENCE North 170 30' 27" West, 113: 35 feet to a point for a
corner of this Easement;
THENCE North 00 00' 27" West, 77.39 feet to the PLACE OF

BEGINNING .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singu-
lar the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging
unto the said GRANTEE, its successors and assigns forever, so that neither
the GRANTOR, CITY OF LUBBOCK, its successors, or assigns, nor any
persons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand
any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part
thereof. All interests not herein specifically, quitclaimed are hereby retained
