G� RESOLUTION ACCEPTING I1,PROVEY2NTS ON PORTIONS OF STRZETTS AND FARKING
LOTS AS LISTED BF101:
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock entered into contract with Lubbock Paver
on December 14, 1959 for the construction of paving improvements on portions
of the following streets and parking lots:
East 28th Street from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South
Property Line of Fast 28th Street on Walnut Avenue to its intersection with a
line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of East 30th Street, known and
desiganted as Sub-Unit 1 of New Subdivision Unit Number 811.
East 29th Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet East of the East
Property Line of Walnut Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet South
of the South Property Line of East 28th Street, known and designated as
Sub-Unit 2 of New Subdivision Unit Number 811.
East 30th Street from its intersectioh with a line 15 feet Fast of the East
Property Line of Walnut Avenue to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet East
of the East Property Line of the alley East of East 28th Street, known and
designated as Sub-Unit 3 of New Subdivision Unit Number 811.
The parking lot at the Baseball Diamond at J. B. Maxey Park, known and
designated as Sub Unit 1 of N.S. Unit 812.
The parking lot at the Casting Pool K. N. Clapp Park, known and designated
as Sub Unit 2 of N.S. Unit 812.
The parking lot at the Baseball Diamond Mae Simmons Park., known and designated
as Sub-Unit 3 of N.S. Unit 813f
The parking lot at the swimming pool, Mae Simmons Fark, known and designated
as Sub-Unit 4 of N.S. Unit 813.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the above-
mentioned streets and parking lots have been inspected and found to have been
constructed according to the approved plans and specifications.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
and parking lots be, and the same are hereby accepted and the City FIngineer
be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment as listed on the estimate
sheet numbered 3 and final.

This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Lubbock Pavers, paving contractor, under their contract dated
December 14, 1959, designated as G.W.O. 2474 and G.W.O. 10212
and find the improvements on East 28th St., East 29th St., Fast 30th
and on parking lots at Mae Simmons, K. N. Clapp and J. B. Maxey
�. Parks as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed
in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that
you accept the improvements on said streets and parking lots,
authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the
attached final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.

City of Lubbock and solemnly swear that I executed a Contract with the
City of Lubbock, said Contract being dated December 14, 1959, for
Waving Improvements under General Work Order 2474 and General Work
Order 10212, and that the work and contract has been completed according
to the plans and specifications pertaining to the project and that all
labor, materials, supplies and other cost including equipment, rental
and hire, and all expense items incurred in connection with said project
have been paid in full; that all liens and rights to fix liens against
any part of said project or the moneys, bonds, or warrants due the
Contractor, have been satisfied by payment to the claimant, his
authorized agent or attorney, and full release of all recorded liens or
claims have been secured by settlement and duly filed of record with the
County Clerk of Lubbock County.
I further represent and affina that all Federal, State and
Municipal laws were substantially complied with by me in doing and
carrying out the job and project herein referred to and that I paid
applicable scale of wages, and this affidavit is made to secure payment
from the City of Lubbock to me of the full and final moneys due me
under this contract.
