HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 050875F - Street Improvements - Lubbock Asphalt Products - Multiple Locations - 05_08_1975RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock made arrangement with Lubbock Asphalt Products, Inc., for the construction of paving improve- ments on certain streets including the following streets: Akron Avenue from its intersection with a line 29.03 feet north of the north property line of 2nd Place to its intersection with.the south property line of 2nd Street, known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 1 of Unit Number 2234. Akron Avenue from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet north of the north property line of the alley north of Amherst Street to its intersection with the south property line of Auburn Street, known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 2 of Unit Number 2234. Canton Avenue from its intersection with the north property line of 3rd Street to its intersection with the south property line of 2nd Place, known and des- ignated as Sub -Unit Number 3 of Unit Number 2234. Canton Avenue from its intersection with the north property line of 2nd Place to its intersection with the south property line of 2nd Street, known and des- ignated as Sub -Unit Number 4 of Unit Number 2234. Canton Avenue from its intersection with the north property line of Amherst Street to its intersection with the south property line of Auburn Street, known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 5 of Unit Number 2234. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby orized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.
