HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 041075B - Quit Claim Deed - Bulson Inc - Section 28 Block E-2 - 04_10_1975:cab RESOLUTION Dy/o 75 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the MAYOR of the CITY OF LUBBOCK BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the CITY OF LUBBOCK a Quitclaim Deed in favor of BUSLON, INC., a corporation, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. QUITCLAIM unto the said GRANTEE all its right title and interest in and to those certain tracts or parcels of land lying and being situated in the County. of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: Power Line Easement BEGINNING at a point 488. 42 feet South and 60. 00 feet West of the Northeast corner of Section 28, Block E-2. Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE South a distance of 20. 00 feet to a point; THENCE West a distance of 1448.6 feet to a point; THENCE North a distance of 20. 00 feet to a point; THENCE South a distance of 20. 00 feet to a point; THENCE West a distance of 1448. 6 feet to a point; THENCE North a distance of 20. 00 feet to a point; THENCE East a distance of 1448. 6 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. Above easement being the same as granted by Buster Long and wife, Allie Long, to the City of Lubbock, Texas, and recorded in Volume 704, Page 158, Deed Records, Lubbock County, Texas, dated August 12, 1958. Transformer Pad Easement 4. 00 foot by 6. 00 foot transformer pad easement, shown on plat recorded in Volume 1345, Page 17, Deed Records. Lubbock County. Texas, being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 102, Buster Long Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE East a distance of 6. 00 feet; THENCE South a distance of 4. 00 feet; THENCE West a distance of 6. 00 feet; THENCE North a distance of 4. 00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. Only the power line easement and transformer pad easement above described are affected hereby, and all other interests of the City of Lubbock are hereby retained. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said GRANTEE, its successors and assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, CITY OF LUBBOCK, its successors, or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
