Home My WebLink AboutResolution - 022660A - Quit Claim Deed - Forrest Builders Supply - Lot 1, Builders Addition - 02_26_1960 �Z REiSOLUTION !� WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Lubbock on ar- July 14, 1959, approved a pla.t'of a tract of land being Block'l, Builders Addition, to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas dated September 10, 1959, and I recorded in Volume 760 at page 357, Deed Records of Lubbock County, the West 30 feet of said Block 1 having been previously dedicated for public use; and, WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission intended #ors said plat to abandon for public purposes the West 30 feet of what now constitutes said Block 1, and the owner of said Block 1 4ow desires for the purpose of clearing title that the City Commission authorize;the execution of a Quit Claim Deed to the West 30 feet of said Block 1; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK- THAT the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to Forrest Builders Supply, a Texas Corporation, covering the following described property, to-wit: The West Thirty (W 30) feet of Block Oae (1), Builders Addition to theCity of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, as shown by plat of said Addition dated September 10, 1959, recorded in Volume 760, at page 357, of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, as approved by the City Plan- ning Commission on Jilly 14, 1959.
