RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF AN ALLEY AS LISTED
BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Gordon Heights Addition, Lots 116 -160 and
Tracts A -D, made arrangements with Commercial Concrete Construction Company
for the construction of paving improvements on a certain alley dedicated in
said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording
of the subdivision plat of Gordon Heights Addition, Lots 116 - 160 and Tracts
A - D, including the following alley:
The East 605.4 feet of the East -West alley South of 48th Street from the East
property line of Utica Avenue to the West Lip line of Salem Avenue known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit A -441.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above -
mentioned alley was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to
have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance
with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned alley be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
