Cope trans- action in Cope Addition, said instruments being as follows: (1) Ordinance closing North 6.05 feet of Und Street (2) Resolution authorizing Mayor to execute quit claim deed to North 6.05 feet of Und Street. (3) Quit Claim Deed to said strip of land. (4) Warranty Deed from Robert R. Cope to City of Lubbock for the South 20 feet of 22nd Street. (5) Returning for your files copy of plat to Cope Addition. While the City Commission, as I understand it, have already authorized this transaction, please have John Hickerson verify such consents from abutting owners and utility clearances as may be necessary for the conversion of 22nd Street to an alley, if any. COPE, his heirs and assigns, all its right, title and interest in and to that certain tract of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock and State of Texas and being a portion of Z2ad Street in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, said portion of 22nd Street being the North b.05 feet of ZZnd Street South of and abutting Cope Addition to the City of Lubbock, and lying West of the Inter- section of said ZZnd Street with Oxford Avenue, in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, described as follows, to-emit: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Cope Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock, County, Texas; THENCE South b.05 feet; THENCE West Z1I.72 feet; THENCE North 6.05 feet to the Southwest corner of Cope Addition; THENCE East Z11.78 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above-described premises together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said ROBERT R.
