RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and direc
to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a QUIT CLAIM DEED in favor
W. A. MADDOX and W. V. MADDOX, attached herewith which shall be spread
upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council st
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if Billy copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 9Fth day of Se{i*.erahPr 1974.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock,
State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 ($1.00)
DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by W. A. MADDO,
and W. V. MADDOX, hereinafter called "GRANTEE", the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE and
FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its right title and interest in and
to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock,
State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
A portion of the North -South alley adjacent to the East side of Tract "G",
C. N. Hodges Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas,
being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the East line of Tract "G' , C. N. Hodges Addition,
said point being 72.00 feet North 0 ° 04' 55" East of the Southeast corner of
said Tract "G" ;
THENCE North 44 ° 55' 05" West a distance of 28. 28 feet;
THENCE North 0° 041 55" East a distance of 90.00 feet;
THENCE North 45° 04' 55" East a distance of 28. 28 feet;
THENCE South 0 ° 04' 55" West a distance of 130.00 feet to the Place of
Beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular the
rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said
GRANTEE, their heirs and assigns forever, so that neither the Grantor, City of
Lubbock, its successors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any
time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid
premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
