HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 091274F - Quit Claim Deed - Irvin Butler - Sieber Addition - 09_12_1974JWF :sw RESOLUTION D9/Z741 1= BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: 1 THAT the MAYOR of the CITY OF LUBBOCK BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed in flavor of IRVIN BUTLER, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall con- stitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. ATTEST: Treva Phillips, ity Secretary -Treasurer APPROVED AS TO FORM: l QUIT CLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS § § KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK § THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by IRVIN BUTLER, hereinafter called "GRANTEE", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its right, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Block 6, Sieber Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE North along the East line of Quirt Avenue a distance of 25. 00 feet to its intersection with the center line of East 27th Street; THENCE East along the center line of East 27th Street, a distance of 30. 00 feet to its intersection with a 50. 00 foot radius curve to the left, said curve having its point of radius 80. 00 feet East of the East line of Quirt Avenue and on the center line of East 27th Street; THENCE Southeasterly along said curve to the left an arc distance of 26. 18 feet, a chord distance of 25. 88 feet, to its intersection with the North line of said Lot 7, and/or the South line of East 27th Street;. THENCE West along the North line of said Lot 7, and/or the South line of East 27th Street, a distance of 36. 7 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singula the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said GRANTEE, his heirs and assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOF CITY OF LUBBOCK, its successors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter have, claim or demand any right to the title to th aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
