E. HARRIS, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the min- utes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Senter, Jr., &W Attorney THE -STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF LUBBOCK QUIT CLAIM DEED § § KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: § THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a'Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 ($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by V. E. HARR.IS, hereinafter called "GRANTEE", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, R ELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its rights, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Lot 8, Block 7, Sieber Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE East along the South line of said Lot 8, and/or the North line of East 29th Street, a distance of 50.00 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 8; THENCE South along the extension of the East line of said Lot 8, a distance of 10. 00 feet to its intersection with a 50.00 foot radius curve to the left, said curve having its point of radius 80. 00 feet East of the East line of Quirt Avenue and on the old South line of East 29th Street; THENCE Southwesterly along said curve to the left an arc distance of 20. 34 feet, a chord distance of 20. 20 feet to its intersection with the center line of East 29th Street; THENCE West along the centerline of East 29th Street a distance of 36.7 feet to its intersection with the East line of Quirt Avenue; THENCE North along the East line of Quirt Avenue a distance of 25. 00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the. same premises together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said GRANTEE, his heirs and assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, CITY OF LUBBOCK, its successors and assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter have, claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
