RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a Quitclaim Deed with associated documents for and on behalf of
the City of Lubbock with Kirby Randal Gryder and Marcie Jo Gryder. Said
agreements are attached hereto and incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set
forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the Council.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of
Lubbock, State of Texas, hereinafter called "GRANTOR," for and in consideration of the
sum of TEN AND NO1100 DOLLARS ($10.00) and other good and valuable
consideration to GRANTOR in hand paid by KIRBY RANDAL GRYDER AND
WIFE, MARCIE JO GRYDER, hereinafter called "GRANTEES," the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM,
RELEASE and FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said GRANTEES, all of GRANTOR'S
rights, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
The East 25 feet of Lot 19 and that portion of Lot 20, Block 10, Myrtle Slaton
Addition, Number 2, an Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas, lying west of the west right-of-way of Indiana Avenue and further
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a''/2" iron rod set at the Northwest corner of said East 25 feet for
the Northwest comer of this tract;
THENCE North 89059'10" East, along the North line of said Lots 19 and 20, a
distance of 30.71 feet to a point in a power pole in said right-of-way line for the
Northeast corner of this tract;
THENCE South 0°07'15" East, along said right-of-way line, a distance of 132.50
feet to a ''/2" iron rod set in the South line of said Lots 19 and 20 for the Southeast
corner of this tract;
THENCE South 89°59'10" West, along said South line, a distance of 30.99 feet to
a ''/2" iron rod set at the Southwest corner of said East 25 feet for the Southwest
corner of this tract;
THENCE North 0000100" East, along the West line of said East 25 feet, a distance
of 132.50 feet to the place of beginning.
THE QUITCLAIM OF THE PROPERTY IS ON A "WHERE IS", "AS IS" AND
"WITH ALL FAULTS" BASIS, AND IS WITHOUT REPRESENTATION OR
WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, EXPRESSED, STATUTORY OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, AS TO TITLE, INCLUDING, BUT
NOT LIMITED TO THE EXISTENCE OF LIENS AGAINST THE PROPERTY, THE
DESCRIPTION, PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION OF THE
PROPERTY, QUALITY, VALUE, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY,
OR OTHERWISE.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular the
rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said
GRANTEES, their heirs and assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, its
successors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under GRANTOR shall at any time
hereafter have, claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or
appurtenances or any part thereof.
