HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 082274B - Pavement Improvements - Zahn Pavers Inc - Burlington Industrial Addition - 08_22_1974V7zz7y RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF A STREET AS LISTED BELOW WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Burlington Industrial Addition made arrange- ments with Zahn Pavers, Inc., for the construction of paving improvements on certain street dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of Burlington Industrial Addition including the following street: est half of Locust Avenue from its intersection with a line 13.5 feet North f the North Property Line of East 40th Street (West Leg) to its intersection ith a line 7.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of ast 40th Street, known and designated as Sub -Unit Number 8-A of Unit Number 229. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accor- dance with'the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street be nd the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby uthorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.
