RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the MAYOR of the CITY OF LUBBOCK BE and is hereby authorized
!•1� and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Special Warrant3
Deed in favor of RONNIE LEE LAWL1S.andidifp, BETTIE CAROLE LAWLISiattache
herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread
upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution
as if fully copied herein in detail.

SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in
the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of
THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE AND N0/100 ($325.00) DOLLARS, and
other good and valuable consideration, to it in hand paid by RONNIE LEE
LAWLIS and wife, BETTIE CAROLE LAWLIS of Lubbock County, Texas,
receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, and
for the payment of which no right or lien, expressed or implied is retained:
Has GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED and by these presents
does GRANT, SELL and CONVEY unto the said RONNIE LEE LAWLIS and wife,
BETTIE CAROLE LAWLIS, of Lubbock County, Texas, all that certain tract
and parcel of land lying and being situated in Lubbock County, Texas, and
being more particularly described as follows:
The West portion of Lot 19, Lortondale Addition to the
City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 19, in the South
line of 47th Street;
THENCE East, along said South street line a distance of
11. 75 feet to a point;
THENCE in a Southeasterly direction, around the arc of a
curve to the right of radius 15. 00 feet, a distance of 23. 16
feet to a point;
THENCE South 01 ° 32' 23" East a distance of 112. 45 feet
to a point;
THENCE West 29. 76 feet to a point, said point being the
Southwest corner of Lot 19;
THENCE North along the West line of said Lot 19, a distance
of 127.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above -described premises, together
with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging
to the said RONNIE LEE LAWLIS and wife, BETTIE CAROLE LAWLIS, their
heirs and assigns, forever, and the CITY OF LUBBOCK does hereby bind it-
self, its successors and assigns to WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND all and
singular the said premises unto the said RONNIE LEE LAWLIS and wife,
BETTIE CAROLE LAWLIS, their heirs and assigns, against every person whom-
soever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same, or any part thereof, by, through
or under it.

capacity therein stated.
