E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized %and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Dedication Deed
on Block 22, Guadalupe Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas, in favor of the Public, attached herewith which shall be spread upon
the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 1 1 thday of July 1974.

COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas is the sole owner of a tract of !land more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at the original Southeast corner of Lot Three (3),
Mullins Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas;
THENCE S 89° 54' 22" W a distance of 751.94 feet;
THENCE S 310 56' W a distance of 15.00 feet;
THENCE S 890 54' 22" W a distance of 5898 feet;
THENCE S 310 56' W a distance of 428.55 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 230.68 feet;
THENCE East a distance of 231.-00 feet;
THENCE North a distance of 129.00 feet;
THENCE East a. distance of 800.00 feet,
THENCE N 000 02' W a distance of 479.40 feet to the point of
BEGINNING.
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas and the City of Lubbock, Texas are owners of
a tract of land more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
-BEGINNING at a point 479.40 feet S 000 02' E of the original
Southeast corner of Lot Three (3), Mullins Addition to the
City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE West a distance of 800.0 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 129.0 feet;
THENCE East a distance of 54.0 feet to a point of curvature with
a 60 foot radius curve to the right, said curve having a delta
angle at 710 32' 1911, a tangent distance of 43.22 feet, and
a chord distance of 70.14 feet;
THENCE Southeasterly around said curve a chord distance of
70.14 feet to its point of intersection with the South line
of First (lst) Street;
THENCE West a distance of 6.91 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 256.0 feet;
THENCE East a distance of 672.66 feet to a point of curvature
with a 15 foot radius curve to the left, said curve having a
delta angle of 810 33', a tangent distance of 12.94 feet,
and a chord distance of 19.59 feet;
THENCE Northeasterly around said curve a chord distance of
19.59 feet to a point of tangency with a line bearing
N 80 28' E;
THENCE N 8° 25' E a distance of 57.86 feet;
THENCE N 000 02' W a distance of 356.0 feet to the point
of BEGINNING.
WHEREAS, the said Urban Renewal Agency and the City of Lubbock,
do hereby plat the above described property into lots and blocks,
designating streets and alleys and other public properties as, there-
on show in accordance with the attached map, prepared by HUGO REED,
a Licensed Surveyor for the State of Texas, on the llth day of
February, 1974, and a proved by the P anning Commission of the City
of Lubbock on the " day of 6LV , 1974, and de-
siring to have the sal property p a to an u y filed for record
as required by law all as shown on the ttached map.

NOW THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the
Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock, and the City of
Lubbock, Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN AND NO/100
($10.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration, do
hereby dedicate to the public for public use forever, as a park site,
the herein above described tract of land situated in Lubbock County,
Texas, and the Urban Renewal Agency and the City of Lubbock, Texas,
do hereby dedicate all the streets, alleys and other public pro-
perties thereon shown and designated on the attached map to the
public for public use forever; and by these presents does impress
the name of:
Block Twenty -Two (22), Guadalupe Addition to the
City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas.
upon said property for the correct reference and description there-
to by lots and blocks as'indicated upon the attached map, and does
hereby adopt the names herein above stated and impresses this same
upon said land, incorporating said land as a part of this Dedication.
In furtherance of the Plan, for development of the above describ-
ed property, the Urban Renewal Agency does hereby impress and im-
pose upon the above described property all applicable restrictions
as set forth in the General Urban Renewal Plan for the First Action
Year Area, generally known as the Guadalupe Area of the Lubbock
NDP Urban Renewal Area, as amended and adopted by the City of
Lubbock on the 3rd day of December, 1970, which Plan is on file at
the office of the City Secretary -Treasurer of the City of Lubbock,
Texas, notice of said Plan being filed in Volume 1254, Page 557 of
the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas.
