RESOLUTION OW/ 7445
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Dedication Deed
on Lots one (1) and two (2), Clovis Road Park Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas, in favor of The Public, attached herewith whi6h shall
be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of
this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied
herein in detail.

DEDICATION DEED
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas is the sole owner of a tract of land more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at the original Southeast corner of the Stone
Subdivision of the Roberts and McWhorter Addition to the
City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, the same being the
intersection of the North line of Auburn.Street and the
Southwesterly line of Clovis Road;
THENCE West,a distance of 426.08 feet;
THENCE N 530 54' E a distance of 23.39 feet to a point of
curvature on a curve to the right, said curve having a radius _
of 1152.2 feet, a delta angle of 130 041, and a chord distance
of 262.2 feet;
THENCE Northeasterly around said curve to the right an arc
distance of 262.76 feet;
THENCE S 510 22' E a distance of 229.3 feet to the point of
BEGINNING.
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas and the City of Lubbock, Texas are owners .of a tract
of land more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at the original Southeast corner of Lot One (1),
Block Two (2), Livermore Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE West a distance of 296.1 feet;
THENCE North a distance of 195.9 feet;
THENCE N 530 54' E a distance of 684.99 feet;
THENCE East a distance of 63.24 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 206.1 feet;
THENCE West .a distance of 145.6 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 232.0 feet;
THENCE West a distance of 175.0 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 161.4 feet to the point of
BEGINNING.,
Whereas, the said Urban Renewal Agency and the City of Lubbock,
do hereby plat the above described property into lots and blocks,
designating streets and alleys and other public properties as thereon
shown in accordance with the attached map, prepared by Thomas 0. Sprawls
a Licensed Surveyor for the State of Texas, on the loth day of June,
1974, and approved by the Planning Commission of the City of Lubbock
on the 11th day of July , 1974, and desiring to
have the said property platted and duly filed for record as required
by law all as shown on the attached map;
NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That for and in
consideration of the special benefits to the remainder of this proper-
ty, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock, Texas, and the
City of Lubbock, Texas, do hereby dedicate all the streets, alleys,
and other public properties thereon shown and designated on the attachec
map to the public for public use forever; and by these presents do
impress the name of:
Lot One (1) and Lot Two (2), Clovis Road Park, City of
Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas.
upon said property for the correct reference and description thereto
by lots and blocks as indicated upon the attached map and do hereby
adopt the names hereinabove stated and impress the same upon said
land, incorporating said map as a part of this Dedication.
In furtherance of the Plan for development of the above -described
property, the Agency does hereby impress and impose upon the above -
described property all applicable restrictions as set forth in the
General Urban Renewal Plan for the Third Action Year of the Lubbock
NDP Urban Renewal Area, as adopted by the City of Lubbock on the 9th
day of November, 1972, which Plan is on file at the office of the
City Secretary -Treasurer of the Cityy of Lubbock, Texas, notice of
said Plan being filed in Volume 1344, Page 420 of the Deed Records of
