RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFLUBBOCK:
THAT the MAYOR of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized
and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Special
Warranty Deed in favor of H.iARVEY T. COOPER and wife, OPELL COOPER
attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and
as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of
this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED
THAT THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in of the sum of
TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-TWO AND 50/ 100 ($252. 50) DOLLARS and other
good and valuable consideration, to it in hand paid by HARVEY T. COOPER
and wife, OPELL COOPER of Lubbock County; Texas, receipt and sufficiency
of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, and for the"payment of which
no right or lien, expressed or implied is retained:
Has GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED, and by these presents does
GRANT, SELL and CONVEY unto the said HARVEY T. COOPER and wife,
OPELL COOPER of Lubbock County, Texas, all that certain tract and parcel
of land lying and being situated in Lubbock County, Texas, and being more
particularly described as follows:
The West portion of Lot 36, Lortondale Addition to the
" City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 36, Lortondale
Addition;
THENCE East 30. 30 feet to a point;
THENCE South 01 ° 32' 23" East a distance of 111. 64
feet to a point;
THENCE in a Southwesterly direction around the are of a
curve to the right of radius 15.00 feet, a distance of
23. 97 feet to a point in the North line of 48th Street;
THENCE West, along said North Street line, a distance of
18. 30 feet to a point, said point being the Southwest corner
of Lot 36:
THENCE North, along the West line of said Lot 36, a distance
of 127.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above -described premises, together with
all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging to
the said HARVEY T. COOPER and wife, OPELL COOPER, their heirs and
assigns forever, and the CITY OF LUBBOCK does hereby bind itself, its
successors and assigns to WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND all and singular
the said premises unto the said HARVEY T. COOPER and wife, OPELL
COOPER, their heirs and assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully
claiming, or to claim the same, or any part thereof, by, through or under it.
