RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF
STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions
of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Western Estates, Lots 1-143
made arrangements with W.D. Turner Construction Company for the
construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said
subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording
of the subdivision plat of Western Estates, Lots 1-143 including the
following streets:
North one-half of Erskine Street from its intersection with a line 16
feet West of the West Property Line of North Elkhart Avenue to its
intersection with a line 7 feet East of the East Property Line of the
alley East of North Clinton Avenue (concrete only) known and designated
as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 93 of Unit Number 2016.
Fordham Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of North
Durant Avenue to its intersection with the West Lip Line of North
Chicago Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit
Number 95 of Unit Number 2016.
Grinnell Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Harvard
Street to its intersection with the West Property Line of North Chicago
Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 96
of Unit Number 2016.
Harvard Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Frankford
Avenue to its intersection with a line 68.62 feet South of the South
Property Line of Grinnell Street known and designated as New Subdivision
Sub -Unit Number 97 of Unit Number 2016.
North Elkhart Avenue from its intersection with the North raw edge of
strip paving on Erskine Street to its intersection with a line 68.62 feet
South of the South Property Line of Grinnell Street known and designated
as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 98 of Unit Nunber 2016.
North Durant Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line
of Erskine Street to Ill intersection with the South Lip Line of Grinnell
Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 01 of
Unit Number 2017.
North Dover Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line of
Fordham Street to its intersection with the North raw edge of strip pavi
on Erskine Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit
Number 02 of Unit Number 2017.
North Colton Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line
of Erskine Street to its intersection with the South Lip Line of Fordham
Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 03 of
Unit Number 2017.
North Clinton Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line of
Fordham Street to its intersection with the North raw edge of strip
paving on Erskine Street known and designated as New Subdivision
Sub -Unit Number 04 of Unit Number 2017.
West one-half of North Chicago Avenue from its intersection with a line
7 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of Grinnell
Street to its intersection with a line 7 feet South of the South Property
Line of the alley South of Fordham Street known and designated as
New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 05 of Unit Number 2017.
North Durant Avenue from its intersection with a line 7 feet North of the
North Property Line of the alley North of Grinnell Street to its intersec-
tion with the North Lip Line of Grinnell Street known and designated
as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 06 of Unit Number 2017.
North Colton Avenue from its intersection with a line 7 feet North of the
North Property Line of the alley North of Grinnell Street to its intersec-
tion with the North Lip Line of Grinnell Street known and designated
as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 07 of Unit Number 2017.
North Evanston Avenue from its intersection with a line 7 feet North
of the North Property Line of the alley North of Harvard Street to its
intersection with the North Lip Line of Harvard Street known and
designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 09 of Unit Number 2017.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the
abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the My
Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been
inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City
specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance
1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK,
EXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned
streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be
and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the C ity's portion
of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
ssage.
