Smith & Aubrey Mcculloch - Riceland Addition - 12_20_197312Zo73'G RES O'-j'UT ION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City o f Lubbock be and hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the :City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed in favor of Preston E. Smith and Aubrey McCulloch, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the. Council!and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Senter, Jr., City orney QUIT CLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS; COUNTY OF LUBBOCK THAT the .CITY OF LUBBOCK, a.Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND N0/100 ($1, 00) dollars and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by PRESTON E. SMITH AND AUBREY MCCULLOCH, hereinafter called "Grantees", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,- does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said GRANTEES, all its ,'light title and interest in and to that ✓ certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: BEGINNING at a point in the Northwest line of -Lot 1; Smith - McCulloch Subdivision of part of Block 4, and all of Blocks 5 and 6, Riceland Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, said point being South 330 05' West a distance of 10. 00 feet from the most Northerly Corner of said Lot 1; THENCE South 330 05' West along the Northwest line of Lot 1 a distance of 80. 00 feet; THENCE South 110 55' East a distance of 14. 1 feet; THENCE South 560 55' East along the Southwest side of Lot 1 through 11, Smith -McCulloch Subdivision a distance of 530. 00 feet; THENCE North 786 05' East a distance of 14. 1 feet; THENCE South 330 05'. West a distance of 35. 00 feet; THENCE North 110 55' West a distance of 14. 1 feet; THENCE North 560 55' West a distance of 555.00 feet; THENCE North 330 05' East a distance of 105. 00 feet; THENCE South 560 55' East a distance of 15. 00 feet to the place of BEGINNING.
