IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
.,ected to execute for and on behalf of the city of Lubbock a QUIT CLAIM DEED
favor of LESTER SHAVER and RONALD BETENBOUGH, attached herewith whicl
all be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of
.s Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied here-
in detail.

QUIT CLAIM DEED

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK Y
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of
Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100
($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by
LESTER SHAVER and RONALD BETENBOUGH, hereinafter called "Grantee", the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON,
DISCLAIM, RELEASE and FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its
right title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 5, Block 1, Southwest Haven
Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE North a distance of 5.00 feet to a point of curvature;
THENCE around a curve to the right having a radius of 15.00 feet,
delta angle of 90% tangent lengths of 15.00 feet and a curve length
of 23. 56 feet to a point of tangency;
THENCE East a distance of 108. 75 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 20.00 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 5;
THENCE West a distance of 123.75 feet to the place of BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular
the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the
said GRANTEE, their heirs and assigns forever, so that neither the Grantor,
City of Lubbock, its successors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it
shall at any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to the title to the
aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.:

THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
