RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY WUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed in
favor of Pat Garrett, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes
of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and
be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 13th day of December , 1973.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
NO/.100 ($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in
hand paid by PAT GARRETT, hereinafter called "Grantee", the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM,.
RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its right
title and interest in and tothat certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as folows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 12, Block 8, Slidell
Addition Annex, an addition'to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas;.
THENCE South a distance of 9. 00 feet;
THENCE West a distance of 115. 00 feet to a point of curvature;
THENCE around a curve to the right having a radius of 15. 00 feet,
delta angle of 660 25' 19", tangent lengths of 9. 80 feet and a curve
distance of 17. 39 feet to a point in the South line of Lot 11, said
point being 1. 25 feet East of the Southwest corner of Lot 11:
THENCE East a distance of 118. 75 feet to the place of BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular
the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the
said GRANTEE, his heirs and assigns, forever, so that neither the Grantor,
City of Lubbock, its successors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it
shall at any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to the title to the
aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
