LFSOLUT ION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE
OF ASSESSMUS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improve-
ment ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with Kerr and
Middleton, Paving Contractors, (G.W.O. 1100) for the making and construction
of street improvements on portions of numerous streets and7or avenues in said
City including among others the followings
Gary Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 38th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 39th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1699.
Auburn Street from its intersection with the West Gutter Line of Clovis Road
to its intersection with the Center.Line of Railroad Right-of-way,, known and
designated as Unit Number 1703.
44th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue S to
its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue Q. known and designated
as Unit Number 1707.
42nd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Flint Avenue
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Gary Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1709.
42nd Street from its intersection with the East Gutter Line of Elgin Avenue
to its intersection with the West Gutter Line of Canton Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1710.
39th Street from its intersection with the West Gutter Line of Avenue V to
its intersection&With the East Property Line of Avenue W. known and designated
as Unit Number 13.
BaylorStreet from its intersection with the East Property Line of College
Avenue to its intersection with the East Property Line of Waco Avenue, known
"and designated as Unit Number 1724.
Gary Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 34th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 35th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1729. -
Gary Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 35th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line of 36th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1730.
Gary Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 37th Street
to its intersection with the North Property_Line of 38th Street, ]mown and
designated as Unit Number 1732.
35th Street from its intersection with the East Gutter Line of Gary Avenue to
Its intersection with the East Property Line of Hartford Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1733._

and designated as Unit Number 1754.

39th Street from its intersection with the West Paving Line of Avenue A to
its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue B. known and designated
as Unit Number 1769.
Akron Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 34th Street
to its intersection with the North Property Line Cf 35th Street,$ known and
designat;d as Unit Number 1772.
2nd Place from its intersection with the West Property Line of Avenue H to its
intersection with the West Property Line of Texas Avenue, known and designated
as Unit Number 1773.
East 'i of Avenue Q from its intersection with the South Property Line of 6th
Street t its intersection with the alley South of 6th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1774.

AND WHEREAS the improvements upon the said portions of the above-

mentioned streets and avenues, have been inspected and found to have been
constructed in accordance with terms of said contract G.W.O. 1100.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LIIBEOCK, TEXAS:

That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets

is hereby authorized to direct payment of the City's portion of cost.

That the Mayor and City Secretary be,, and they are hereby instructed
to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied
F against the parcels of property abutting upon the said portion of streets and
avenues listed above and against the owners of such property in accordance
with law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with
reference to said improvements and assessments.
I III.
This resolution shall take Effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
