WHEREAS,, the City of Lubbock passed resolutions April 14, 1955, August 25, 1955, September 8, 1955, and September 22, 1955, authorizing the construction of street improvements by Kerr and Middleton, Paving Contractors, on portion of various streets in said City including among others the following: Knoxville Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 42nd Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 43rd Street, known and designated as Unit Number 1734. Boston Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of let Place to its intersection with the North Property Line of 2nd Street, known and designated as Unit Number 1716. Knoxville Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 37th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 39th Street, known and designated as Unit Number 1793. Knoxville Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of 39th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 40th Street, known .— and designated as Unit Number 1801. Peoria Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line of 33rd Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 33rd Street, -known and designated as Part of Unit Number 1802. Peoria Avenue from its intersection with the North Paving Line of 34th Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of 33rd Street, known and designated as Unit Number 1803. Avenue B from its intersection with the North Property Line of 39th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 39th Street, known and designated as Unit Number 1804. Avenue B from its intersection with the South Property Line of 39th Street to its intersection with a line 2*5 feet South of the South Property Line (East Leg) cf the alley South of 39th Street, known and designated as Unit 'Number 1805. 30th Street from its intersection with a line 17 feet East of the West Property Line of Louisville Avenue to its intersection with the West Property Line of Memphis Avenue,, known and designated as Unit Number 1806. Avenue N from its intersection with the South Property Line of 50th Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of 51st Street,, known and '^ designated as Unit Number 1807. CITY OF LuBBOCK r t TEXAS November 10, 1955 Honorable Mayor and City Comission Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr and Middleton, paving contractors, as authorized by resolutions passed and approved April 1-4, 1955, August 25., 1955, September 8, 1955, and September 22, 1.955, and find the improvements on streets known and designated as Units No, 1734, 1746, 1793, 1801, part of 1802, 1803, 1804, 1.805, 1806, 1807, 1", and 1810 as listed on the attached final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with plans and specifications and recommend that you accept im- provements on said streets, paying the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated estimate sheet on the due date shod on the abovementioned resolutions as due him by the City of Lubbock. AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the above— mentioned streets have been inspected and found to have been constructed according to the approved plans and specifications. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be, and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's share on December 15, 1955.
