HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 091373A - Extension Agreement - TTU Water Resources Center - Canyon Lakes - 09_13_1973:pr RESOLUTION 6`�/373A BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock an Extension Agreemen to the Research, Monitering and Advisory Service Agreement, Canyon Lakes Water Quality, in favor of Texas Tech Water Resources Center, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council andas spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herei in detail. Senter, Jr., �ity Attorney EXTENSION AGREEMENT TO THE RESEARCH, MONITERING AND ADVISORY SERVICE AGREEMENT CANYON LAKES WATER QUALITY WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock and Texas Tech University Water Resource Center entered into an agreement on February 22, 1973 for the performance of research, monitering and advisory service on the Canyon Lakes Water Quality, and WHEREAS, the parties to such Agreement have notified the other party that this Agreement should be extended for an additional twelve (12) months period. WITNESSETH: The City of Lubbock and Texas Tech University Water Research Center do hereby extend that certain Agreement dated February 22, 1973 as described above for a period of twelve (12) months beginning on October 1, 1973. This extension is granted upon the same terms arAl conditions as set forth in the original Agreement. The City shall pay to the Center as compensation for the services to be performed during the twelve (12) months of this extension the sum of $3, 428.81 with payment to be made at the rate of $489. 93 per month on the first day of each month of the extension period.
