RESOLUTION

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
I
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized
and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit
Claim Deed in favor of RUTH CLAPP, attached herewith which shall be
spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of
this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if
fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this loth day of may 1973.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS f
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUB#3OCK 9
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
NO1100 %L.00? DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in
hand paid by RUTH CLAPP. the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does
hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM. RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT
CLAIM unto the said RUTH CLAPP. all its right title and interest to and to that
certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock.
State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at a point, said point being the Northeast
corner of Lot 20, Block 7, Slidell Addition to the City of
Lubbock, Lubbock County. Texas, which lies 1, 290.0 feet
East and 499.99 feet North of the Southwest corner of the
Southeast one-fourth (1/4) of Survey 9, Block E-2;
THENCE South along the East line of said Lot 20, Block 7,
Slidell Addition a distance of 180.0 feet to a point; said point
being the Southeast corner of said Lot 20, Block 7. Slidell
Addition.
THENCE on a bearing of North 810 4' 55" East a distance of
16.09 feet to a point;
THENCE North a distance of 127.50 feet to a point;
THENCE West a distance of 15.9 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular
the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto
the said RUTH CLAPP, . her heirs and assigns. nor any persons claiming under
her shall at any time hereinafter, have, claim, or demand any right to the title
to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
