RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed in
favor of The Seven Cities Corporation, attached herewith which shall be spread ui
the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 26th day of April 1973.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK S
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Rome Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
NO/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in
hand paid by THE SEVEN CITIES CORPORATION, of Lubbock County, Texas,
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents
ABANDON. DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said
SEVEN CITIES CORPORATION, of Lubbock County, Texas, all its right tide
and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land tying and being situated
In the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows. to -wit:
BEGIN*N- G at the Southwest corner of Lot 16, Block 11,
Weathaven Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas;
THENCE North a distance of 95. 0 feet to a point:
THENCE Went a distance of 25.0 feet to a point;
THENCE South a distance of 95.0 feet to a point;
THENCE East a distance of 26.0 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINKING.
TO HAVE: AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular
the rights, privileges am appurtenances thereto to any manner belonging unto
THE SEVEN CITIES CORPORATION, of Lubbock County, Texas, their heirs and
assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter, have,
claim, or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances
or any part thereof.
