RES OL'UT ION
WHEREAS, the Texas Criminal Justice Council has made available grants
Ito assist in "New Direction" programs; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Council does hereby express its consent to be the Grantee in
a Grant Application filed with the Texas Criminal Justice Council for assistance in
a "New Direction" program to be implemented by the Y. W. C. A. of Lubbock; an
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized to
execute any applications and agreements in connection therewith.
Passed by the City Council this 26th day of October , 1972.
